Wow, way back in late 2000. This wasn't the first SC3 meeting, but it's the earliest one where we still have photographs. This may have been early in SC3's history, but we'd already discovered the joys of Joyboard Combat. And check it out: Dreamcast games were still "new" back then.

This was the first SC3 I ever attended (not bad, considering I had only moved to California 6 months before). I think Geoff told me about it at CGE that year. Once people started playing Combat with Joyboards, I knew I was among friends.
